Nannan nodded his head, watching Wan gongzi cool elegant and magnificent grandeur as he stepped into the restaurant, leaving behind a bunch of hired underling thugs to obstruct the street in front of the building.
Nannan rolled his eyes twice and when he just saw the restaurant’s waiter returning, he immediately said with an arrogant voice: “Waiter, I’m a friend that that Wan gongzi is going to entertain. Can I go in now?”
The waiter almost vomited blood, the finger he lifted to point at Nannan began to tremble. This shameless kid, Wan gongzi didn’t even know him but he was able to spit such nonsense out without blinking.
Ye Xiudu was stunned and couldn’t help but laugh.
Nannan patted Ye Xiudu’s shoulder: “Uncle Ye, let’s go inside.”
“Wait a minute.” the waiter hurried to stand in front of them, firmly obstructing their passage and glared at Nannan with resentment: “You are here cause problems, aren’t you? Ok, in that case, don’t blame me for being impolite. Come! Beat both of them out of here!”

“It was my mistake, Yuan gongzi. Some people came looking to stir some trouble in the restaurant and we were about to drive them away. I’m very sorry for not paying attention to you meanwhile. Please, please come inside.”
Yuan gongzi, Wan gongzi and their group of brothers were regulars of the Linshui Tower and they were all also distinguished guests that one couldn’t afford to offend. They were all sons of officials and were normally the arrogant and domineering sort. If they were offended, they might come back to retaliate against the establishment.
Yuan Shi glared at the waiter, then turned his head to glare contemptuously at Nannan. However, when he met Ye Xiudu’s eyes he felt his heart sinking in his chest for no apparent reason, feeling his mood turn fearful and his body cold.
He hurriedly looked away and said fiercely to the waiter: “This sort of people should be directly tied up and thrown out. You have wasted my time here blocking my way. Do you want to die? Do you know who the person in the carriage is? What should I do if you are too loud and startle him?”
“Yes, yes, yes. Yuan gongzi has taught me, I’ll bring someone to clean them up as soon as I return.”

The person inside of the carriage sneered then proceeded to jump down from inside, landing steadily on de edge of the vehicle. His sharp eyes swept over those at the scene, one by one. After a long while, he mockingly looked at Yuan Shi from his side: “Didn’t you say that Linshui was a good/decent place? Why does it seem to not be the case at all after seeing for myself today? To let us wait at the entrance for such a long time, just how could anyone be able to stand it?”
Yuan Shi’s expression was full of embarrassment: “Second brother, this happened because some people are being rather difficult and we were caught up in the mess. If you are unhappy, I’ll have someone knock them out immediately. Third Brother Wan is still waiting for us upstairs. Let’s go up first.”
“Right, second brother, there’s no need for us to get acquainted with these incompetent people.” There were another two guys around the same age who had come together with them, all looking to please this second brother.
The surrounding people watching the scene develop all had enough sense to notice that this person’s identity wasn’t a common one after seeing these elder brothers, who were usually so arrogant and prestigious, trying so hard to please this individual.
This person, who was referred to as second brother, nodded his head, agreeing with Yuan Shi’s words: “Beat these people out, lest they stand here to obstruct my eyes and affect my mood when I’m eating.”
“Yes, second brother.” Yuan Shi bowed his head, proceeding to shout back at the waiter: “Haven’t you started yet?” After that, he led the second brother, walking in front of him: “Through here, watch your step, brother.”
The waiter’s attitude, once he heard Yuan Shi’s orders, became one notch higher as he commanded his subordinates to do what was asked.
Nannan’s cheeks swelled like buns as he angrily stared at those people, especially Yuan Shi who, if looks could kill, would be dead by his glare right now: “If the panther was here, I would order them to kill everyone. I’m so angry, sooo angry that I don’t even want to fart at them, just poison them directly.”
Ye Xiudu raised his eyebrows then waved his hand. Sending the person who was going to beat them flying.
The thug’s heavy body landed with a ‘bang’ in front of the place Yuan Shi’s group was heading towards, blocking their path.
Several brothers, who seemed to be afraid of nothing moments before, were instantly scared stiff. All of them turned around preparing to clean up those two people.
“Ye Lanping, we haven’t seen each other in many years, but your disposition has turned this nice.” Ye Xiudu coldly said to the person who had been called ‘second brother’ as he turned around to face them.
